Police are investigating what happened after a man allegedly admitted to killing his wife and hiding her body.

Overland Park police responded about 4 p.m. Monday to the 8000 block of Perry Street on a domestic disturbance.

Robert Lee Harris was charged with first-degree premeditated murder on Wednesday. He's accused of killing Tanisha Harris.

When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with a man inside the home regarding the disturbance. He was home alone.

Hours later, police said the man called officers back to his home wanting to report his wife missing. Based on the interview, the officers became suspicious.
