UPDATE, 9:03 p.m. - The Greene County Sheriff's Office says Carol Day has been found safe!

ORIGINAL STORY

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 5-month-old baby near Springfield, MO. 

According to the Missouri Department of Safety, the baby was inside a black 2007 Chevy Impala out of Greene County, MO. 

The vehicle has a Missouri license plate with a tag of DC43G. 

It was stolen from the Kum & Go at 4996 South State Highway 125, Rogersville, MO. according to the sheriff's office. 

There is no suspect information at this time, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol. 

Day is one-foot tall, 35 pounds. She has brown hair, blue eyes and was wearing a pink and cream colored sleeper with the word "lovable" on the front.

The vehicle was last seen heading westbound on Missouri Highway 60 from Missouri Highway 125. 

Anyone with information should call 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Greene County Sheriff's Department at 417-868-4040.
