2 injured in shooting at 10th, Kensington in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police in Kansas City are searching for the people responsible for a shooting that left two people in the hospital on Wednesday.

The shooting happened at about 5:55 p.m. outside a home near 10th Street and Kensington Avenue. 

The victims told officers that they were standing outside when the suspects approached them, pulled a gun and began shooting.

One victim was hit several times, the other was hit twice.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital. One is in stable condition, the other was taken into surgery.
