KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

Allegations of sexual harassment target former Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome Gorman.

Gorman was a Wyandotte County prosecutor for 35 years. He was the district attorney for 11 years. He's under investigation for how he's behaving at his new job as a tax attorney for the state of Kansas.

The allegations come from another state employee turned whistleblower who claims he was fired for bringing bad behavior to light.

The allegations are outlined in detail in the Topeka Capital Journal. A former employee describes Gorman as a person who was used to being in charge the ultimate boss who could say anything,

That former state employee says he outlined allegations to Gov. Sam Brownback's administration and to human resources in the late fall.

Gorman is accused of questioning why so many female law enforcement officers are gay. He also allegedly referred to an applicant as a blonde with "big boobs" and didn't want to hire young women because they get pregnant and take time off from work to care for sick kids.

He is also accused of joking about erectile dysfunction and bisexuals.

KCTV5's investigative unit has been unable to verify the allegations directly with any of the accusers.

However, Gorman personally told our department he is aware he is under investigation but offered no comment.

KCTV5 also reached out to Brownback's administration but have not had a response. We do want to point out the man who collected all of the information was later fired. He says it's for information gathering and pushing this issue.

However, The Topeka Capitol Journal reports he's accused of blowing up in the office.

Right now, our investigative unit is reaching out to other former employees who worked with Gorman. Usually, in these cases, there is a pattern.
