Police identify man shot, killed near 29th, Oakland in KCK

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

Police have identified the man shot and killed in Kansas City, KS, early Monday morning.

The shooting happened before 1:22 a.m. in the 2900 block of Oakland Avenue.

When they arrived, officers found a Hispanic man in his twenties laying on the ground, dead from a gunshot wound.

That man has been identified as Mike Arita-Hurtado, 24, of Kansas City, KS.

No suspect information has been released.
