Shots fired during armed robbery attempted in Overland Park

OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) -

Police in Overland Park are investigating a second armed robbery. 

Investigators say around 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to an armed robbery call at 79th Street and Frontage. 

Officers arrived and said a suspect fired at least two shots from a silver-colored gun. 

No injuries were reported for the two employees working inside the business. 

The suspect took cash from the business and ran from the scene, heading eastbound. 

According to police, victims described the suspect as a light-skinned black male, aged between 18-20 years old. He was wearing a black hoodie and a bandana covering his face.
