NORTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) - Gun violence in north St. Louis left two dead and three injured Tuesday evening.

Just after 6 p.m., in the 2100 block of Adelaide, authorities were on the scene of a double shooting involving a 6-year-old boy. Police said a 29-year-old man was inside a car with his 6-year-old son and an 8-year-old boy when two suspects opened fire. Police believe one suspect may have opened fire another car, possibly a four-door sedan, while the other suspect was on foot.

The 6-year-old was shot in the head and was listed in critical but unstable condition. The man suffered gunshot wounds to the leg and listed in critical but stable condition. The 8-year-old was not injured.

About an hour later, St. Louis Metropolitan Police were called to investigate a deadly shooting in the 5300 block of Wabada. Police said 22-year-old Andre Crawford Jr. was talking to his girlfriend, who was inside her car, when her ex-boyfriend arrived and shot him.

Crawford was taken a local hospital but later died from the injuries. The suspect was placed as "wanted" by police.

The third incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. when two men were shot in the 5000 block of Aubert. One of the victims, O'Shay Rogers, 23, was found dead next to a vehicle. The other victim, described as a 23-year-old man, was shot in the leg and listed in critical but stable condition. A suspect was placed as "wanted," police said.

Police do not believe any of the shootings are connected.

All investigations are ongoing.
