You know a singer performed poorly when they apologize on social media for their performance. Jennie Gautney was one such singer.

Gautey, who sang the National Anthem before the Summit County Fair in Utah, apologized on Facebook for her performance, which was supposed to be “sultry,” which is what she claims her musical style is.

I am extremely embarrassed by my performance. I know it sounds absolutely horrific, terrifying, disgusting & disgraceful. I accept responsibility and would like to just move forward and make it right.

However, we can’t give her too much grief. She owned it, apologized, and has moved on. After all, everyone has a bad performance at least once.
