KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Summer is winding down, and, by now, you’re likely wondering what you can do to keep your kids entertained without breaking the bank.

Here are a few ideas in this week’s summer on the cheap.

First, head on down to Mission Board Games, 5606 Johnson Dr, where they’re hosting a board game kids camp through Wednesday. The focus is on math and strategy.

It’s $15 per day from 1-3 p.m. Admission includes a snack and drinks!

If you’re looking to have your little one burn some energy, Integrity Gymnastics in Overland Park is hosting an open gym on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

The open classes are for the public and take place between noon and 1 p.m. Admission is only $5.

And Ceramic Café KC is celebrating its opening in a brand new building this week. The new location is at 95th Street and Nall Avenue.

Every Tuesday and Friday you can hear a fun story and paint ceramics at 10:30 a.m. The price is only $12, and it includes a snack.
