Overland Park firefighter treated for heat exposure

OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) -

An Overland Park firefighter was treated for heat exposure following a fire on Tuesday afternoon. 

Crews from the Overland Park and Olathe fire departments responded at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to a house fire at 156th Terrace and Bond. 

Firefighters determined the home was unoccupied following a search. The fire was in the back dining area and basement of the home. 

Damage was reported in the basement and back of the home. 

Investigators are determining the cause of the fire.
