UPDATE: Sebren Kenyon has been located and is safe, according to Liberty police.

A man's parents and the Liberty Police Department are asking for the public's help finding 26-year-old Sebren Tyler Kenyon.

He has been missing since 12:50 p.m. on Thursday, where he was last seen driving away in the 5900 block of NE 96th Street in KC, near Interstate 435.

He was driving a grey 2003 Acura SRX with Missouri license plates "SP1A1U."

His family thinks he came home from work and left the next day at 6 a.m. for a job that he manages.

He is described as a white man standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Liberty Police Department at 816-439-4701.

For the man's parents, this situation is a nightmare. They have been frantically searching and tracing back his steps.

They say his phone has been off and that they didn't find anything unusual on his Facebook account. They are worried something is terribly wrong.

His mother said it's as if he just vanished. "There's nothing on his Facebook Messenger, any of his accounts, this email that show any kind of, like, he was going to go away or disappear," Susie Gibson said. "Nothing from friends."

Sebren Kenyon's father, Matt Kenyon, gave KCTV5 News the following message:

"We love you.

We're thinking about you, Sebren.

Whatever we can do, please let us know.

If anyone has information, please let us know. Give us a heads up."

He posted pictures of his son and the Acura on Facebook on Friday and said the following:

"My son Sebren did not show up for work this morning around 6 am. He works with family and so we know he would have let someone know by now if he just wasn't feeling well enough what's even more concerning is that no one has seen or heard from him since last night some time. He lives in Liberty and I believe was at home last night when his brothers got there but had left before they got up for work. If anyone knows of his whereabouts or can offer any assistance as to where he might be we would very grateful. This is not like him so we are obviously very concerned at this point and just want to know he is ok or at least any clues as to where he might be. His mother and I will be watching our phones for any information anyone might have."
