Police identify motorcyclist killed after crashing into tree in KCK

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

A man in his 30s has died after his motorcycle ran into a tree in Kansas City, Kansas. 

At about 10 p.m. on Friday, officers went to the 200 block of N. 86th Street after receiving a 911 call and found a blue motorcycle that had run into a tree. 

Police have identified the driver as Jason Snyder, 34, of KCK.

The initial investigation revealed that Snyder was headed southbound on N. 86th Street when he lost control and the crash happened. 

Snyder was deceased when officers arrived and was further back into the trees than the bike.

There were no signs that another vehicle was involved in the crash. 

The accident is still being investigated.
