WYANDOTTE COUNTY, KS (KCTV) -

Willie Parker has been sentenced to life without parole for 50 years in connection with the murder of his boss exactly two years ago.

The Wyandotte County District Attorney announced the sentencing on Twitter

Michel Ziade was murdered on July, 28 2015. Parker was subsequently charged with first-degree murder.

The shooting was reported at about 12:15 p.m. near the entrance to the University of Kansas Hospital's Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Center.

Police said an employee and an employer of First Class Medical Transportation got into an argument and there was a struggle. That was when one man shot his employer more than once.

Bullet holes could be seen in the side of the medical transport van.

Witnesses said a man got out of an orange SUV, shot his boss, then walked over and continued to fire. He then grabbed a bag out of the back and took off.

The shooter took off, leaving KCK police to launch a massive search by ground and air.

Parker was later taken into custody and has now been sentenced two years after the shooting originally happened.
