KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Portions of the Kansas City metro area have already seen three inches of rain. 

A flash flood warning has been issued for Wyandotte, Clay, Jackson and Platte counties until 1:45 a.m. 

KCTV5's Gary Amble says the heaviest rain has been up north. 

The Kansas City Fire Department said it's working a water rescue on 169 and Briarcliff.
