RAYTOWN, MO (KCTV) -

Three dogs died in a house fire in Raytown on Monday.

The house fire happened at 63rd Street and Sterling.

No human was inside the home at the time of the fire.

While the house itself did not explode, smaller explosions were reported. Fire crews believe the homeowner had ammunition inside it.

The fire also melted gas lines in the home, causing a gas leak.

Firefighters are not entering the home because of safety concerns.
