KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

On Friday at 2 p.m., Wayside Waifs took in 13 dogs that the ASPCA rescued from a hoarding situation.

Few details are known about the dogs, the person who was hoarding, or the living conditions.

There were 13 "Aussie and Lab" mixes of unknown ages that were rescued from rural Missouri.

The dogs were examined when they arrived and they were taken directly into Wayside’s canine isolation area, which ensures that any illness they have will not be spread to other animals.
