JOHNSON COUNTY, MO (KCTV) -

A frustrated family says they have been targeted by someone who has repeatedly set fires on their property.

The fires have caused more than $120,000 worth of damage. They hope a $2,000 reward will encourage anyone with information about the fires to come forward.

This large pile of ashes is all that's left of one of Steve Briscoe's hay barns.

"It's a total disruption to your life, to be dealing with these and worrying what could happen next," Briscoe said.

Briscoe and his family worry because for three years, they say they've dealt with fires on their property off 131 Highway in Holden, MO. The first fire happened in May 2014.

They rebuilt a new barn to store hay for their cattle. It was burned down in February of last year.

"Six days later we had a machine shed caught on fire," Briscoe said. "We've had hay bales that were outdoors burned and small grass fires

Yet another fire this June destroyed a third hay barn, leaving it a total loss with 100 bales of hay and a Bobcat inside it.

The family is convinced they are the victims of an arsonist. Johnson County deputies are investigating.

Briscoe, who is a Missouri Farm Bureau member, says his insurance company is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction.

"It's hard to relax," he said. "You never know when the next crisis is going to happen."
