LIBERTY, MO (KCTV) -

A police pursuit in Liberty, MO ended with some interesting results on Tuesday morning.

Referred to as a "Dukes of Hazzard" fail by the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the pursuit ended around 1 a.m. in the 400 block of Moss Avenue after a vehicle crashed onto a van parked in front of the home.

On Wednesday, Christopher Degenhardt was charged resisting arrest, first-degree property damage and two counts of possession of drugs.

Degenhardt pleaded not guilty to the charges. A $100,000 bond has been set.

The driver of the vehicle exited the vehicle and eventually came down from the roof of the home.

The pursuit began after a deputy attempted to stop the driver of a vehicle that had an expired temporary tag.

Court documents state the driver attempted to turn on to Moss Avenue and Olin Street. The vehicle failed to make the turn, causing it to run off the right side of the roadway, crossing over Olin Street and continuing through the side yard of the home on Moss Avenue.

At one point during the pursuit, the vehicle eclipsed 100 miles per hour, documents state.
