Reward now $3,500 for information about 2016 homicide

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

An increased reward is being offered in connection with the killing of 25-year-old Mark Bivins, which happened early last year.

Bivins died in the 10100 block of Raytown Road in January of 2016.

The authorities found him suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

He was taken to a hospital and later died from his wounds.

Bivins’ friends and family have increased the award by an additional $500, which brings the current reward total up to a possible $3,500.

The reward will be given based upon information given to Crime Stoppers that results in an arrest or filing of charges.
