LEAWOOD, KS (KCTV) -

The FBI is searching for a man they say robbed a bank in Johnson County on Tuesday. 

The BMO Harris Bank was robbed around 3 p.m. FBI officials 30-year-old man was responsible for the robbery

He was last seen leaving the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male who is 5'10" and 230 pounds in size. He was wearing a long-sleeved button up blue shirt with a purple and white tie. 

The suspect also wore a Fedora style hat at the time of the robbery. 

The FBI says he was carrying a black messenger style bag.

He demanded cash and claimed he had a gun and a bomb.
