A suspect of a recent KCK homicide investigation is now in police custody.

According to police, Justin Aguilar turned himself into the Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday.

Police say the man was wanted for the July 1 homicide that happened in the 4300 block of Lloyd Street.

Aguilar is awaiting charges.

KCK police officers went to the 4300 block of Lloyd Street around 1:15 a.m. on a call about a shooting.

Officers found a white man in his late 40s inside the house who had died from apparent gunshot wounds.

After speaking with witnesses, officers determined the shooting was domestic in nature and that the suspect had fled on foot before officers arrived.
