Man killed in overnight KCK shooting

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead following a shooting in Kansas City, Kansas early on Saturday.

KCK police officers went to the 4300 block of Lloyd Street around 1:15 a.m. on a call about a shooting.

Officers found a white man in his late 40s inside the house who had died from apparent gunshot wounds.

After speaking with witnesses, officers determined the shooting was domestic in nature and that the suspect had fled on foot before officers arrived.

A K-9 was sent out, but the suspect was not found.

No other information is available at this time.
