KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

The search continues for the next General Manager of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kansas City Chiefs Owner/CEO Clark Hunt has been busy during the weekend scouting replacements for its general manager opening.

The goal is to have John Dorsey's replacement in line by the beginning of training camp.

Sources tell KCTV5 Hunt will be conducting a few interviews this week, which includes top in-house candidate Brett Veach. Veach is the co-director of pro personnel.

The Chiefs have also requested an interview with Scott Fitterer, the director pro personnel for the Seattle Seahawks. They've also requested to speak with Tennessee Titans director of player personnel Ryan Cowden.

On Sunday, it was reported that ESPN analyst Louis Riddick was a potential candidate for the Chiefs, but he tweeted later Sunday that he had not been contacted yet.
