KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police say a weekend fight among teenagers in the Northland resulted in a 17-year-old boy found dead on a driveway and a car crashed into a garage.

Officers were called about 4 a.m. Sunday to a home in the 9400 block of North Kentucky Avenue on an accident.

Police said that, when they arrived, they found a man in the driveway who was dead and a vehicle that had wrecked into the house.

The car's driver was taken into custody for questioning. Clay County prosecutors are reviewing the case, and there was no immediate word Monday about any charges.

The victim's name was not immediately released. An autopsy was planned.

The victim's parents were out of town at the time and there was a total of at least three teens hanging out at the home, even though he was supposed to be at a friend's house. One of those teenagers was the driver of the car that crashed into the garage. An argument or fight then spilled out into the driveway.

Authorities are trying to determine the cause of death, as well as the cause of the crash.

It appears that the car drove through the front lawn of a neighbor's home and into the garage door of the house, which busted it in.
