KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Hundreds of people in the metro still don't have power, three days after a powerful storm.

At the height of last weekend's storms, more than 90,000 people didn't have electricity. Crews are working around the clock to get the lights back on for everyone.

Sycamore Drive and Fontana Street is one of about 300 areas where crews are still working to restore power.

Kansas City Power and Light says 119 crews worked Tuesday to try and restore power to the last of its customers dealing with outages.

Crews from four different states and neighboring companies assisted.

As of Monday afternoon, 432 people are still in the dark.

Rebecca Anderson has gone three days without power and is relieved crews are finally working to turn her power back on.

"We were thankful for nice weather two of those days, because today, if it didn't come back on it, would have been rough because temperatures heating up,” Anderson said.

KCP&L anticipates having all customers back up and running Wednesday.

The city of Independence announced its plan for debris left over from the storm. Residents will be able to drop off their tree limbs and brush at the city depot located at 875 Vista Avenue starting Friday.

The city will accept debris until July 2 free of charge.
