SHAWNEE, KS (KCTV) -

Authorities in Shawnee were kept busy after a pair of businesses were burglarized early Tuesday morning.

Officers were dispatched about 1 a.m. to the Sport Clips, located in the 16300 block of 65th Street.

A second burglary was reported about 1:40 am at the Minsky's Pizza, located in the 7100 block of Renner Road.

At both scenes, police found that someone had forced their way through the business' main door.

Minsky's employees found the glass in both the front door and the second glass door broken. One of the restaurant's owners says he left the store about midnight.

Each business spent time making repairs to their doors Tuesday morning. Both are open for business.

Authorities do not know how much was taken from each of the businesses.

Officers are investigating to determine if the tow burglaries are related. The businesses are 1.2-miles from one another.
