(MEREDITH) – Of all the creatures on earth, the last animals that need plane tickets are birds, but one Saudi prince might disagree.

A photo uploaded to Reddit by the username “lensoo” shows 80 of the birds in their “seats” while cruising at 30,000 feet.

It’s safe to say that most animals might get a kick out of flying, but these hawks? Not so much. After all, they do this every day. And for them, flying in a plane is probably like riding a Megabus for us. Convenient, but common.

The caption in the photo reads “My captain friend sent me this photo. Saudi prince bought ticket for his 80 hawks.”

Apparently, this isn’t as uncommon as you might think. Another redditor posted a similar photo of the same event four years ago. Another user also pointed out that only six birds are allowed in economy class at a time, which means this probably isn’t economy class.

Millions of questions come to mind when something this bizarre pops up online, among which is the one we keep asking ourselves: “Why do you need that many hawks?"
