The awards continue to come in for the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Thursday, the NFL named Chiefs third-year kicker Cairo Santos the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for November.
Santos had a perfect month, going 11 for 11 and making two kicks from beyond 40 yards. Santos was also five for five in extra points and finished the month with 38 points, leading all NFL kickers for the month.
Santos delivered multiple dramatic finishes for the Chiefs in November as he hit two game-winning field goals, one in Carolina and the second in a prime-time, overtime, victory in Denver.
According to NFL communications director Randall Liu, Santos joins Pete Stoyanovich, Dec. 1997, as the only Chiefs kickers in franchise history to win a player of the month award.
