INDEPENDENCE, MO (KCTV) -

Independence police are looking for help in identifying a man who was struck by a moving vehicle on Sunday. 

The pedestrian was injured and is still being treated at the hospital. 

Police have not been able to identify him. 

He's described as a white male, possibly in his 30s or 40s. 

Officers also say he has black receding hair and a long black goatee. On the night of the wreck, he was wearing dark clothing and had several tattoos.
