Police arrest 4 suspects after driver attempts to hit KCK officer

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

Four suspects have been arrested after a driver attempted to hit a Kansas City, KS police officer. 

Kansas City, KS police dispatch said the incident happened at 14th and Minnesota in KCK after officers were called about a "suspicious vehicle." 

The arrests occurred after the pursuit ended at 24th and Wood. 

Kansas City, KS Police Chief Terry Zeigler tweeted out that an officer was the target of the vehicle. Zeigler said the officer was not injured by the vehicle. 

There was one injury during the pursuit, which crossed into Missouri after beginning in KCK. 

A civilian was hit at 9th and Prospect Avenue in Kansas City, MO at around 8:19 p.m. The man had to be cut out of the vehicle. He was reportedly conscious and talking, but was transported to the hospital.
