Suspects arrested after apparent kidnapping in KCK

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

The Kansas City, KS Police Department is investigating an apparent kidnapping at a local bank. 

According to police, a woman gave a bank teller a note indicating she was being held against her will. A man was arrested at the bank after bank personnel called police. 

The victim at the bank then indicated to detectives that her boyfriend was being held hostage in the 200 block of North 1st Street in KCK. 

Officers arrived at the house to discover multiple suspects had barricaded themselves inside the residence. 

After a short standoff, the suspects surrendered and exited the home. 

Both victims reported minor injuries to police. The suspects were armed.
