JOHNSON COUNTY, KS (KCTV) -

A Kansas City, KS man was sentenced to seven months in the Johnson County Jail on Friday.

Carlos Salas-Lopez was given the seven-month sentence, along with 18 months of probation, by a judge in Johnson County after he attempted to get an upskirt video of a teen girl at the JC Penny at Oak Park Mall in 2015.

Salas-Lopez pleaded guilty to a felony breach of privacy charge in Sept.

In 2015 Salas-Lopez was arrested for attempting to get an upskirt video of a teenage clerk at the store. Security officers watching via surveillance cameras noticed him following the clerk as she moved about the store including him attempting to place his camera below her skirt, Overland Park police said.

This isn't the first time that Salas-Lopez is accused of videotaping in a public place.

He was arrested in Sept. 2013 for breach of privacy. He pleaded guilty to eavesdropping, which is a misdemeanor. In Oct., he was sentenced to probation but would face 364 days in jail if he didn't successfully complete his probation. He was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.
