Authorities looking for person who set 3 grocery stores on fire

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

The fire department is asking for the public’s help in solving the case of three KCK grocery stores that were set on fire.

The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department is trying to find the person of interest pictured in this article because they may be linked to the fires.

The three grocery stores that were set on fire on Saturday had people in them when the fires began.

The stores were:

  • The Save-A-Lot at 28th and State Avenue
  • The Save-A-Lot at 21st and Metropolitan
  • The Happy Foods North at 55th and Leavenworth

Anyone with information about the fires or the person of interest is asked to call the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department or the KCK Fire Department’s Arson Hotline at 913-573-5550.
