FAIRWAY, KS (KCTV) -

A man in his 20s has died after being shot in Fairway on Saturday, according to Fairway Police Chief Fleming.

The call about the shooting came to police at 2:30 p.m.

Around 4 p.m., Fairway police were still on the scene of a shooting at 60th and Roe.

There was a 26-year-old and a 27-year-old in the house. One of the men does live in the house and they are related to each other.

On Saturday night it was revealed that it was the 27-year-old who had been shot. He was taken to the University of Kansas Hospital in critical condition after the shooting and later died.

Everyone was cooperating with the investigation, but no one was arrested because police believe no criminal act occurred.

The investigation is still ongoing with Fairway police, the Johnson Criminalistic Laboratory, and the Johnson County Sheriff's Department.
