KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A Kansas City man has been charged after carjacking a woman’s truck at a Midtown gas station.

Keith B. Hudson, a 34-year-old who lives in Kansas City, faces charges of first-degree robbery and receiving stolen property.

According to court records, the victim told police that a man approached her at a gas station in the 3700 block of Broadway Blvd. He then took her purse and her 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe while threatening her with what looked like a deadly weapon.

Police found the car at another location on Paseo and took Hudson into custody. Police found other stolen items, including credit cards and IDs.

Prosecutors are requesting a bond of $100,000 in cash.
