Missing, elderly Overland Park man found safe at home

OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) -

A Sliver Alert has been canceled after a missing 75-year-old Overland Park man was found safe.

The Overland Park Police Department said Charles M. Bond was seen Thursday in Marshfield, MO.

He was found safely at home later around 4:30 p.m.

His family became concerned after he missed a dialysis appointment. Bond contacted his daughter and told her he was driving to Bolivar, MO. His last cell phone ping was near Warsaw at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He has been diagnosed with renal failure, diabetes and Alzheimer's. He also has heart issues.
