Victim identified in Wednesday homicide at Meyer, Prospect

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

The man who died following a shooting at Meyer and Prospect in Kansas City has been identified.

Police were called out to a shooting just before 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday. 

There, they found a man inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital, where he died. 

Officers found a possible crime scene at 63rd and Prospect. 

On Friday, the victim was identified as 19-year-old Cortney Settle.
