SHAWNEE, KS (KCTV) -

Johnson County deputies arrested a wanted man in an incident at a Shawnee QuickTrip in which a Lenexa officer fired shots.

Christopher Branham, 30, was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer. He was booked into the Johnson County Detention Center and remains there on $100,000 bond, according to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.

Police said Branham got into a struggle with a Lenexa officer and Shawnee officer inside a QuickTrip near 75th Street and Switzer Avenue in Shawnee on Oct. 20.

The Shawnee officer had run Branham's plate and found he had a warrant for his arrest. He and a Lenexa officer approached Branham, resulting in a struggle in which one of the officer's guns was accidentally discharged, police said. No one was injured.

Branham drove from the scene and was not found until Tuesday night.
