KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A woman has a desperate plea to the community to find her stolen car.

Sadly, this isn't the first time she's had to ask for help. This is the fourth time in two years she's been targeted.

It all began back in October 2014. Now, Loretta Newell is at her breaking point.

Newell was living at Haven Apartments at 105th Street and Hillcrest Road. In total, her 2002 Dodge Stratus was stolen three times from that complex. So she called it quits.

Two weeks ago, she moved to a new complex at Timberlane Village. But just two days ago, the car was stolen, again.

"I thought, 'Oh no! This can't be, but it was," Newell said.

She says she has no idea why this has now happened to her four times, but her car should be easy to spot. That's because each time it's been stolen, it's come back with more and more damage.

Newell says it's a dark green-colored Stratus with indentations on the roof and hood. It's missing two hubcaps as well. Each time, she's had to replace the steering column.

"I'm on Social Security disability, and I don't have money to be able to do this each time," she said. "It makes me angry, and at the same time, I remember my religion and it makes me forgive them. Well, I'll forgive them, but I won't forget."

The last time it was stolen, Newell's son dipped into his retirement to help her fix the steering column.

If you know anything, call police.
