BONNER SPRINGS, KS (KCTV) -

A busy ramp on I-70 is back open Monday afternoon after a semi burst into flames.

It happened about 6 a.m. on the ramp that goes from Interstate 70 to westbound Kansas Highway 7.

The fire burned through the semi quickly. The truck was hauling plastic wrap and caught fire while braking on the ramp.

It took crews hours to clear the scene, because the wind kept reigniting the fire.

No one was hurt.
