You can make amazing things happen in a group situation right now, so go for it! Don't wait for people to ask what your opinion is -- you may end up waiting forever. You have to be proactive if you want people to see the beautiful big picture that you see. The only caveat is that before you speak, you need to make sure that you have a well-developed plan for your idea. Otherwise, you'll end up going around in circles. Give people an idea of what they should do.
