KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Officers found a man shot dead in his car in Kansas City on Friday night.

At about 10:18 p.m., officers went to I-29 and NE 152 Highway on a call about a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a dead man in his 30s with gunshot wounds in a vehicle.

More officers were called to a nearby gas station where the suspect in the shooting had called the police. That suspect was taken into custody.

At this time, it appears the incident was the result of a road rage situation between the victim and the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477 (TIPS).

On Sunday, the victim was identified as Clinton R. Alsobrook, a 35-year-old white man.
