KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A 30-year-old man has been charged with murder after shooting a 56-year-old man in a gas station parking lot.

Terrance L. Blanks has been charged with murder in the second degree and armed criminal action in the death of Rockey Bradley.

Bradley was shot in the parking lot of the gas station near 27th and Indiana on Aug. 24.

According to court records, Blanks had a confrontation with Bradley inside the gas station. A witness said that Blanks was “hateful” and had a hand inside his jacket during the confrontation

Bradley went out to his truck, then Blanks left the store with a handgun and immediately shot at Bradley while he was in his truck.

Prosecutors have requested a $250,000 bond.
