KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

American Airlines passengers in Kansas City ran into some trouble Wednesday morning.

The airline encountered a connectivity problem that shut down their self-service check-in kiosks, causing long lines and some delays.

All passengers were still able to check in with agents at the desk and a make-shift check-in desk was set up outside the terminal.

The airline claims that no passengers missed flights due to the issue, but passengers did take to social media to voice their frustration about the delays.

American Airlines was able to fix the issue after a few hours.

The airline did make it clear that the problem was only in Kansas City and was not system-wide.
