KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

For a second time in as many days, crews responded to the scene of a house fire at a vacant house in KCMO.

Originally crews had responded to a house fire at 68th Street and Monroe Avenue late Monday night.

KCFD quickly put the fire out and cleared the scene.

About 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, crews were called back to the scene to battle a fire in a different part of the house.

The fire was put out, but the Kansas City Fire Department says the fact that the two fires happened within hours of each other but not in the same location, suggest they may have been arson.

Neighbors say the house is vacant but say the house is known to have vagrants in it.
