The area near Barry and Waukomis is usually a quiet neighborhood.

On Sunday, it was not, as thieves targeted the neighborhood on Sunday morning and left behind a lot of damage.

Insecticide was poured all over the interior of a woman’s vehicle.

Tires were slashed on other vehicles and police even say some had paint dumped on them.

Police say there were 21 victims overall in the spree.

"I looked around and seeing stuff all scattered around and I had to think a minute did I do that last night,” said Troy Robinson, who was one of the victims. “Then, I thought about it and I was like no."

Robinson’s personal belongings were taken by the thieves, among them were his GPS and his cell phone charger.

"I think it's a violation,” Robinson said. “I feel violated a little bit, but at the same time, I'm thankful my family wasn't hurt . They could've got inside, maybe they had guns, maybe they didn't but you never know what could've happened. I thank God that's all it was was a GPS."

A man spoke to KCTV5 off camera and said he had a gun stolen from his truck that was parked in his home’s driveway.

He said police believe the thieves used the stolen gun to threaten a man after he caught them standing in his garage.
