Police searching for individual in southeastern KC homicide

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

One man is dead after being shot on the southeastern side of Kansas City on Sunday.

At around 11:18 a.m., officers went to 56th and Hardesty on a call about a shooting.

When they arrived, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The man was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he later died.

The victim was later identified as 26-year-old Torrance Evans. 

Police are looking for an individual who is a subject of interest in this homicide.
