KINGSVILLE, MO (KCTV) -

A young boy from Kingsville, MO., has a brand new tree house.

Normally a new tree house is not considered worthy of the evening news, but in the case of Tyler Jacobs, it’s pretty special.

The playhouse is two-stories high and features a spacious deck.

The home is a good distraction for Jacobs, who has CHARGE Syndrome. The disease requires Jacobs to have a feeding and trach tube, meaning simple pleasures like playing outside can be difficult.

The tree house was granted by the Make A Wish Foundation, which grants more than 300 wishes every year in Missouri.

“I was blown away,” said Stephanie Jacobs, Tyler’s mom. “I couldn’t believe something so big and elaborate – I thought it was a little tree house.”

His parents say he continues to inspire them with his attitude. He has struggles, but his perspective on life is amazing.
