Christopher Hadden has been missing since July. His family fears the worst, but they just don't know, and that hurts them even more.

The family is begging for answers.

"This is tormenting. It's hard to continue, you know, living when all of a sudden a piece of you, not dies, but goes missing," Hadden's sister Emily said.

The 33-year-old Air Force Afghan War veteran and father of three has been missing for seven months.

His cellphone was found in the parking lot of a Zona Rosa restaurant. After talking to people who knew him, Chris' relatives believe he was last seen near KCI, possibly in the company of two men, one of whom shot him. But, with no body and no evidence, it's just a theory.

Emily Hadden talked to KCTV5 by videophone from Georgia where the family is from.

She says he was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after leaving the Air Force. But, Hadden said her brother was disturbed even before joining the military.

"Psychologically, Chris went through stages of depression, mood swings, and things like that. The VA prescribed different medications to try and help, but they fluctuated so often that they never really helped him," Hadden stated.

Hadden lived in a mobile home off of North Holly Drive in Kansa City prior to his disappearance. Neighbor Pat Hawkins says he understands just how Chris' mom, who has offered another $1,000 on top of the Crime Stoppers, feels.

"Most definitely. My children are in their 40's, but still, that's young. That's young and I would just be beside myself, Hawkins commented.

Hadden's sister said he was making arrangements to return to Georgia before he vanished. Now she and the rest of the family are playing the waiting game.
