Maple Bourbon Smoked Sausage Bites

1 lb. Smoked sausage, cut into ½ slices
1 c. Apricot preserves
½ c. Maple syrup
2 tbsp. Bourbon or Apple Juice
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker, gently stir to mix well. Cover and let cook on low for 4 hours. ***Jill’s note***: this stuff looks super weird until right before the 4 hour mark then it magically turns into the most scrumptious sausage appetizer!
